Sheye Rosemeyer

April 14, 2011

Once in a while, when wandering aimlessly, I will come across something totally unique, moving or supremely cool.  Just as when you live in a big city you can live there for years but not realise an amazing little boutique exists down a hidden lane or a super awesome underground cafe you never came across before.  This morning I stumbled upon a website in tribute to a beautiful little girl who passed away.

The website is both a professional showcase of a woman’s portrait photography and a eulogy to the sweet little angel she lost through a tragic accident.  I don’t know whether it’s a motherly instinct of mine kicking in (God knows i’ve been feeling that lately) or whether it’s as moving for everyone else but I guarantee it will pull at your heart strings.  If it doesn’t, you need to take a trip to see The Wizard of Oz because you, my friend, are in need of a heart.

You can have a peep here and read over the tender writings of Sheye Rosemeyer about her beautiful little girl on Ava’s tribute page.

Life is precious and I feel like mine is wasting away waiting…
